the roughing of cnc hand plate model requires the maximum cutting rate. in order to find the maximum cutting rate and not exceed the machining capacity of cnc machine, conservative parameters can be used for roughing first and then adjusted according to the roughing condition.

during rough machining of cnc hand plate model, the adjustment process is as follows:

with the same cutting speed, the cutting depth is adjusted from the initial 1.5mm to 2.0mm, and the lateral feed is adjusted from the initial 2.0mm to 3.0mm, doubling the cutting amount per unit time. the basis of adjusting the cutting amount is mainly to listen to the processing sound and observe the vibration of the machine tool. this needs experienced cnc operator.

cnc hand plate processing materials are generally soft but rough processing of each knife deep, and our hand plate manufacturers used by the tool is the shape of the white steel knife, the shape of the center of the white steel knife is no blade, so in the vertical under the knife in the middle of the material is not cut but squeezed down. when we use a higher cutting speed machining can be imagined that the impact on the spindle is very large, so it is better to use oblique cutting method than to reduce the speed or increase the delay time of cutting. the spiral cutting tool is used here. the machine tool of this cutting method has little vibration and the required cutting range size is small. because the material is soft, the cutting angle of 10 is given.

it can be seen from the above table that with the increase of the depth of each knife, the bottom residual material also increases. if the bottom residual material is too much, the amount of finishing knife will be large, and it is easy to produce sticky knife and broken knife. moreover, in the actual processing, the allowance left by each plane step is not the allowance set in the path calculation, so in fact, there are large residual materials left on all platforms. this problem also exists in mastercam. its solution is to select each platform surface and record its depth into the processing depth. then, during calculation, these depths are compulsively constrained to make the rest set as processing parameters.
