Windows 7 RC is all that we expected, as well as all that we expected out of Microsoft. With all the hype in the crowds, the hidden dwarfs are no less dangerous ::
- You are strictly asked not to upgrade from windows7 beta to RC. Even though it looks like a recommendation, the language is pretty strict and bold!

- For the beta version, timed shutdowns will start from July 1st 2009. This means you can use your PC only for two hours at one stretch. Not only this, after a month of this, ie; starting August 1st, we will get the “This copy of winodws is not genuine” message.
- Quoting GIZMODO, from this article :: http://gizmodo.com/5240677/windows-7-rc1-will-auto-shut-down-every-two-hours-weeks-before-expiration Really?Really guys? You know, if you wanted us to stop using RC1 on March 1, it’d be totally fine to just have it expire. That’s cool. The trial’s over, time to move on people. But turning the entire OS into a crippling piece of harassmentware? Way to turn something awesome into a huge douchebomb moment for yourselves.
- Massive download of RC got the download server to crash!!!That is a de-ja-vu from the beta release.

But RCs validity is till march too
ya, but that is due next year. Moreover, i just finished downloading a copy yesterday, but my download was corrupted..
Microsoft should at-least have the sense to provide the file in parts…
