Nokia Surge

One of my wishful daydreams consisted of new Symbian V3’s and a heavy pocket to buy them. Thanks to Nokia’s surprise move, we can cut off the monetary part.

Nokia is going to launch a new S60 phone, Nokia Surge, on the AT&T network. It has all the general features, except one – it’s launch price is 80$, that’s an approx of 4000 Rs. to you. This phone is aimed basically at attracting people who like to surf on the go.

Well, for the dirt cheap price tag, it does have a catch – the camera is a lousy 2 MPs and the processor is a bit slow. On the bright side, we get all stable features like HSDPA and HSCSD.Built in GPS module comes as an added icing. It has a flash supportive HTML browser. To cap it all off, it even has a full QWERTY keypad! Hats off to Nokia for such a phone. No one could ask any more.
